MADAR’s yearly ‘Sports Day’ started on February 14. Our students have been looking forward to the resumption of this yearly event which was paused for the last two years due to the pandemic. Students received the return of Sports Day with eagerness and excitement.
Our teachers know the importance physical activity plays in the development of a child. It is hard to deny that sports, whether team-based or individual, have a positive impact on the physical growth of our students. ‘Sports Day’ offers the perfect opportunity for students who may not ordinarily participate in sporting activities to do just that, and it encourages students’ social development skills and improves their self-esteem.
